I'm currently reading Agnes Callard's Open Socrates: A Case for a Philosophical Life. I can't claim to fully understand every philosophical theory, but I am enjoying learning more about how he views what has become known today as the Socratic Method. Based on this post, I think you would really enjoy the book. Callard believes that we can't fully examine ourselves individually; we need others to help us question our beliefs. Let me know if you decide to read it. I'd love to hear what you think and possibly help each other better understand ourselves respectively.
Thanks Adrian, I have a copy but haven't started reading it yet. Once I finish, I'll share my thoughts. I agree that an outside perspective on one's life is immensely helpful; it can really speed things along. I'm very open to helping each other better understand ourselves. I'm curious about what you might have in mind.
